During London International Disputes Week, Daisy, our Cambridge MBA alumna attended Breaking Barriers – Women in Construction at White & Case LLP. The panel, featuring industry leaders like Rebecca Shorter and Kim Franklin KC, explored the gender disparities in construction and disputes, with women representing only 15% of the workforce and less than 13% of arbitrators globally. The session emphasised the need for equal representation and encouraged women to pursue opportunities, even without meeting 100% of the qualifications. Despite the challenges, the panel highlighted how women are driving change in the industry.
