Wrapping up the Easter Term of the Cambridge MBA, my key takeaways have revolved around Energy.

In May, we successfully hosted the 2025 CUEN (Cambridge University Energy Network) Conference. Serving as the operations lead for this event was a significant privilege and incredibly fulfilling. A big thanks to all the guest speakers who participated in insightful discussions and debates on the topics of security, affordability, and sustainability.

Also recently, my team and I concluded this term’s Energy & Environment Concentration with a pitch on geothermally powered greenhouses in the Arctic. Seeing this idea evolve from inception to presentation was a new and rewarding experience. The MBA concentration evenings throughout the term also provided us with valuable insights, with industry experts sharing their perspectives on various energy related topics.

One of the most impactful lessons from this term has been recognising the crucial link between the global energy transition and the mining industry. I am now more convinced than ever of the increasing significance of mining in the future as a driver for positive global change.

Thanking all my colleagues who have contributed to making this Easter MBA term a truly enriching experience. Thanks to my MBA classmates and Concentration cohort – Aaron Lang, Sam Eisenberg, Alex Dickson-Axt, Dana Marat, Yun-Hsin (Jennifer) Chen, Anna Winter, Utsav Jain and Mitali Waghmare.
