On 31 May, the Cambridge India Business Dialogue 2025 will bring together policymakers, thought leaders, innovators and changemakers at the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, to engage in profound discussions on India’s dynamic journey through technological, social and economic shifts as it continues to position itself as a global leader.
Before I began my MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School, I worked at the British High Commission in India, and as a part of the chief diplomatic mission of the United Kingdom to the subcontinent, I got to see first hand the flow of ideas, innovation, and influence between India and the world. I am therefore excited to invite you all to the 2025 India Business Dialogue at the University of Cambridge – the nerve-centre of pedagogical excellence, technological advancement and emergent leadership – to be a part of this dynamic exchange.
The Cambridge India Business Dialogue is an annual flagship conference hosted by the Cambridge India Business Society to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and opinions on the factors shaping the future of India and its role in the evolving global order. This year’s event focuses on India at the Cusp of a New Era: Transformation Through Transition, a powerful reflection on how India navigates transitions in energy, digital infrastructure, finance, entrepreneurship, sustainability and the flow of human capital.

The event features a host of illustrious speakers at the forefront of change. Our speakers include Puneet Jindal, Global Data Science Senior Director at the AI Centre of Excellence Lead at BCG; Mahua Acharya, Founder and CEO of International Energy Transition Platform; Richard Heald OBE, Chair of the UK India Business Council; Dr Vivek Lall, Chief Executive at General Atomics Global Corporation; Meher Pudumjee, Chairperson of Thermax; Lindsay Hooper, CEO of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership; Harshul Asnani, President – Europe of Tech Mahindra; James Crabtree, Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations; Navneet Kumar Sehgal, Chairman of the Prasar Bharati Board; Nirmal Jain, Chairman of India Infoline Finance (IIFL); and David Eaves, Co-Deputy Director of the Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose at the University College London.
The event fosters thought leadership, networking, and collaboration on India’s global impact and attracts over 400 attendees each year. This year’s event, sponsored by the Centre for India and Global Business and FUEL – Friends Union For Energising Lives, promises to be a convergence of ideas, impact and influence. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions and interactive sessions, the Dialogue will spotlight the rise of youth-driven innovation and inclusive development, cross-sector collaboration between business, policy and academia, and the opportunities for global partnerships rooted in local insight.
The speaker sessions are scheduled to take place in Lecture Theatre 1 at Cambridge Judge Business School on the 31st of May. I am truly excited and honoured to be able to support my brilliant colleagues at the Cambridge India Business Forum in presenting the event to you this year. Join us for a day of insight, dialogue and connection, where India’s transformative path through transition takes centre stage at Cambridge.
